Alejandro Garnacho scored a goal of the season contender just three minutes into Manchester United's 3-0 triumph against Everton, but admitted to Sky Sports that he "can't believe" he scored the Rooney-esque bicycle kick.
Erik Ten Hag's side extended their league-winning run to three games at Goodison Park on Sunday, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial got on the scoresheet but the attention was all on 18 year old Garnacho for his unbelievable opener.
Diogo Dalot received the ball out on the right flank, and swung a deep cross to the Argentine. The cross was behind him, so Garnacho adapted in some fashion, meeting the ball in the air with a spectacular effort that flew into the top-right corner. The young forward explained "I didn't see how I scored, just I listened to the ground and I said 'Oh my god'".
Despite Garnacho taking most of the limelight, teammate Martial achieved a special feat of his own, scoring his ninth goal against Everton, which is more than he has against any other team. His cheeky flick over Pickford sealed the deal for the Red Devils.
