Unai Emery believe that his Villa side are top four contenders this season, following an emphatic 4-1 victory over West Ham. Only Newcastle and Liverpool have beaten the Villians this season.
In the only Sunday fixture this weekend, Unai Emery's Aston Villa overcame West Ham in some style. Ollie Watkins and John McGinn goals alongside Douglas Luiz's brace lead them to a comfortable victory.
Unai Emery put his clubs success down to their "high level of focus on each game", since taking over last October he's led Villa to a 7th place finish, securing Europa Conference League football. They are currently the favourites to win the competition despite losing their first game against Legia Warszawa.
Villa take on Luton and AZ Alkmaar next week in the Premier League and Europa League respectively. Emery's European experience will help Villa as they look to win their first piece of European silverware since their Champions League victory in 1983. Emery has won the Europa League four times with Sevilla and Villarreal.
