After Wolves took three points from Bournemouth down on the South Coast, Gary O'Neil dismissed suggestions that he was happy to get back at the club who sacked him in the summer.
Gary O'Neil denied he was glad to beat his old club 2-1, the Wolves manager was sacked by Bournemouth in June, despite keeping them in the Premier League. In a post match interview, he said "I feel no different to how I did when we beat City, it's not about me."
The summer sacking was met with confusion as O'Neil helped Bournemouth avoid relegation, they finished five points above the drop in 15th. The Cherries replaced O'Neil with Spanish manager Andoni Iraola who is yet to get a win in the Premier League this season.
Wolves have been in good form recently, beating Manchester City and holding Aston Villa to a point. O'Neil described the match as "a really big win for us", before heading into the international break.
