Jack Hinshelwood scored his first goal for Brighton on Wednesday night in their 2-1 victory. The Albion came from behind after conceding a penalty, Pascal Gross inspired the comeback with a goal and assist.
The 18 year old marked his first game at the Amex stadium in some style, scoring the winner against Brentford with a precise header across goal. In a post match interview with Amazon Prime Video Sport, Hinshelwood said "We are delighted to get back to winning ways. The first thing on our mind's after Sunday was we have to bounce back today and we've done that."
Hinshelwood has had a remarkable season at the Albion so far, just last week he made his European debut and in doing so became the youngest player to start a Europa League game since Jude Bellingham. The Englishman typically player in the midfield but has made his way into the team via the full back position whilst household names such as Pervis Estupinan and Tariq Lamptey recover from their long term injuries.
The 2-1 victory was Brighton's first at the Amex since September, they have a great chance do go back-to-back as they take on Vincent Kompany's Burnley who are currently 19th in the table on just seven points. Brentford travel to Brammal Lane where they'll look to get back to winning ways against bottom of the table Sheffield United.
