Everton's narrow 1-0 victory against Nottingham Forest was their first since their 10 point deduction for breaching Premier League financial rules.
The Toffees secured their first win since their recent huge blow of a 10 point deduction, they went from 14 points and a mid table position to the relegation zone in a matter of moments after being found guilty for breaking the leagues financial rules.
Dwight McNeil scored the only goal of the game to seal the victory, the winger smashed the ball into the top right corner following Jack Harrison's cross towards the back post. Sean Dyche said the win "blows belief into Everton"
Everton have won three of their last five league matches and are now only two points away from safety, they trail behind newly promoted side Luton. Forest on the other hand have suffered back-to-back defeats and haven't won a game since the start of November.
