Following Manchester United's humiliating 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth, a few statistics emerged that sum up how poorly life at Old Trafford has been in recent years.

The embarrassing loss on Saturday afternoon was the Red Devils' seventh of the season; it's the first time since 1989/90 that they've suffered this many losses at this stage of a top flight season. However, that's not the worst stat of the weekend, Manchester United have now lost more league games (35) since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement at the end of their 2012/13 title winning season than they did throughout the Scottish manager's entire 21-year reign at the club (34).

Current manager Erik Ten Hag is now under immense pressure in a make or break period for the club. So far this season United have lost 50% of their games in all competitions, bottom of the league Sheffield United have only lost one more game than them (12).

Man United have a tough week coming up too, they take on Bayern Munich on Tuesday in the Champions League, where anything less than a win will see them crash out the competition. On Sunday they face league leaders Liverpool at Anfield, where they were thrashed 7-0 last season.
